Their category of eligibility is: <strong>\u201c2016 \u2013  Best Short Fiction &#8211; English\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The stories are:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLost Flesh\u201d which appeared in the anthology <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bundoranpress.ca\/store\/p5\/Lazarus_Risen_.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Lazarus Risen<\/em><\/a>, Edited by Hayden Trenholm and Michael Rimar, Bundoran Press, Nov 2016.<\/p>\n<p>And<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDallas\u2019s Booth\u201d which appeared in the anthology <a href=\"http:\/\/laksamedia.com\/strangers-among-us-an-anthology-with-a-cause\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Strangers Among Us: Tales of the Underdogs and Outcasts<\/em><\/a>, Edited by Susan Forest and Lucas K. Law, Laksa Media Groups Inc., August 2016.<\/p>\n<p>We authors find it difficult to choose a \u201cfavourite\u201d story, but if cornered I would suggest \u201cLost Flesh\u201d. Unfortunately, I am unable to place a free story on my website this year.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who is either a permanent resident of Canada or a Canadian citizen can submit a nomination form for the Aurora Awards. You may select up to 3 nominees in each category. All selections will be given equal weight.<\/p>\n<p>The CSFFA charges a membership fee ($10) to nominate OR to vote. Everyone who becomes a member will be emailed a packet of the five finalists in each category, (once they\u2019re chosen) so you\u2019re essentially getting many books for $10!<\/p>\n<p>The top five works in each category with the most nominations will be placed on the final ballot.<\/p>\n<p>All nominations, on-line or mail-in, must be received by <strong>11:59PM ET May 6th<\/strong>, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your consideration&#8230;Suzanne<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello fans and friends!
